We achieve this by informing policy and practice in teaching and learning in Higher Education, and by collaborating in research and dissemination of resources. EDIN values creative, critical, collaborative and professional approaches in supporting teaching and learning. You can read the EDIN Constitution to learn more about our mission and structure.

EDIN members share experience and expertise in teaching and learning within HE institutions in Ireland. We work together to explore and develop practice in relation to accredited teaching and learning programmes, researching academic practice, and writing for publication. In what is relatively a new field, the opportunity to share experiences with counterparts has created a forum for people to meet and more importantly to learn from each other.

EDIN runs development events and seminars during the academic year around Ireland, and and runs an active listserv for members.
